Reagan’s Roundup (10/9)

Welcome to this week’s edition of Reagan’s Roundup!

Here are some links to fuel your journey toward being a more productive Christian.

Now, for what’s happening on the web:

Attention Management vs. Time Management

“Productivity isn’t a virtue. It’s a means to an end. It’s only virtuous if the end is worthy.”

This is an older article I came across. But I found the insights to be spot on. Sometimes we focus so hard on getting things done efficiently that we don’t think about why we are doing them to begin with.

Churchill’s D-Day Task List

This is a cool WWII artifact, a to-do list labeled D-Day, created by one of the secretaries serving under Winston Churchill.

The ‘New You’ Isn’t the Answer

Too much introspection and reinvention can leave us self-focused and miserable. The answer, according to Trevin Wax, is to look up before you look inward.

A Review of TickTick Task Management Software

I use OmniFocus to manage my todos. But I’m always interested in what else is out there. TickTick has some interesting features like a calendar view and Kanban boards. It might be worth checking out, if you’re looking for a way to keep your tasks organized.
